And that means a new goalkeeper is one of the top priorities for Klopp this summer.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, known for their outlandish transfer claims, even say Liverpool have made a bid for Courtois.
8pm: Manchester United are in the final stages of completing the transfer of Fred and expect to announce the new signing next week.

The Manchester Evening News claim most of the smaller details are being ironed out and United will officially announce Fred before the end of next week.
6.30pm: Liverpool are beating Arsenal in the race to sign Monaco ace Thomas Lemar, according to the bookies.
BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: “Monaco star Thomas Lemar has emerged as one of Europe’s brightest young talents and the Frenchman is expected to be in high demand following this summer’s World Cup.
“Liverpool were within touching distance of completing a move for the 22-year-old back in January and the Reds are the outright favourites at 6/4 to get their hands on the Monaco star this time around.
“Arsenal are next in the running at 4/1 to finalise a deal for the highly-rated youngster who they were supposedly touting in January as a potential replacement for the outgoing Alexis Sanchez.

The Blues are widely expected to replace Antonio Conte this summer but Sarri is no longer in the running.

“That’s the first question that needs to be asked.

But reports in Spain suggest that Neymar does not want to work under the Argentine.
According to Don Balon, a Spanish outlet famous for its outlandish transfer claims, the 26-year-old wants Real to hire Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp or Germany’s Joachim Low.
